Very often it is at this time of year, when new ideas for styles/designs surface. A new mittens style is coming forth. A follow on from the leaf mittens. Many prototypes are usually needed to translate the beautiful image in my imagination into fabric! with much concentration and disappointment to begin with..
Nature’s unfolding story of creation and growth is usually within this for me. This time, the abundance of spring flowers is finding its way into my work. Lots of experimentation still to unfold, though there is a pair for sale already on the ‘shop’ page of this website as well as a few pairs in stock at Salt Cellar Workshops, in Porthleven, Cornwall.
