Explore how to design your own mittens for cold hands, choosing from the various styles and endless colour combinations available, for personalised warmth. Go to the ‘designing’ page, and ‘design/order’ page, for more information about this. Do ask for advice about combining colours or anything else about ordering if you need inspiration or ideas..

The Original Mitten
These were the first Feeline mittens. Ever popular and still very much part of the range. They are one colour and have vertical tucks, creating lines going from the fingers end to the wrist edge. The simplest style to choose the options of.. One colour!
The standard length for all the mittens, except the stripies (which is determined by the number of stripes) is 9″ or 23cm.

Stripey mittens
These mittens have a minimum of four stripes, more are of course possible, and it can be fun to create different lengths and colour combinations. Almost endless possibilities! And probably the style which most lends itself to originality.
The stripes can vary in width, using different tones of one hue or colour, or two or more colours combined, and so creating a variety of colours and/or shades in one pair.

Insert mittens
This was the second mitten style to be added to the range. A follow on from the original mitten, it has a triangle of a contrasting colour inserted into the upper side of each hand. This can be a different tone of the same colour as the body of the mitten, or a completely different colour, in the same tone, or lighter/darker. Different effects can be created eg a different colour for each hand.

Leaf mittens
These mittens have two or more leaves appliquéd on to the top side of one, or both, hands. The leaves can be contrasting colours to the main colour and/or to each other; realistic or imaginary.
Let your creativity flow, or choose something simple and easy. Help with choosing is readily available too.
Just ask.

Two tone mittens
These are the most recent style. The design is divided into two wide vertical stripes (with one colour on the palm side) The two colours combined can create different effects. Either a subtle juxtaposition of similar shades of one hue, or a complete contrast of colours & tones. Again this invites the creation of a unique pair just for you. Or one of the standard combinations can be ordered for ease.

Create your own unique pair, have fun with your creativity and then enjoy the practical benefits of warm hands, as well as the joy of playing with colours, the reminder of nature’s beauty, and the softness hugging your hands.
